Sometimes 03:37
I've spent too much time It's too close to where we grew up I've spent too many hours In combat alone, cold to the bone Sip a cup a tea All the formalities, feelings of spring weather My thoughts come together Life can be sad, sometimes a drag Alone Life, a start and an end I keep pretending I'm fine Excuse me, what's my name I prayed last week, what has changed I do, I say, I'm not fine One thought at a time, get back in line Sip a cup a tea All the formalities, feelings of spring weather My thoughts come together Maybe I'm mad, maybe I'm sad Who knows Life keeps on moving So I'll keep on moving along Pass along the memories Watch, I'll show you how Take a step, leap of faith, I'll remain You're never alone, never alone Pass along the memories Watch, I'll show you how Take a step, leap of faith I'll remain You're never alone, never alone

K 03:06
The first time I knew you were golden Fell back like a fool you were calling I waited a day hoping something would rise from the grave someone save me It'll be ok I waited for you hoping someday I'll look back on you smiling no change The day you were calling, heart stop stalling Filled to the brim, I am dying It'll be ok My word she's calling I hear my future comin' My word she's calling I hear my future comin' My word she's calling I hear my future comin' My word she's calling I hear my future comin'...

Little Man 04:49
I know he'll come around Let's see how he plays his cards In the back of my car Right foot forward Not much to go back to He's got nothing to lose Do you know how it feels to be a little man In a world that doesn't take your hand How it feels? Hasn't it been too long He can always take some More of it, more of it, more of it, more of it Hasn't it been too long He can always take some More of it, more of it, more of it, more of it Back to a corner Feel the wall as he backs too Facing no one at all Started with the real kind Ended on the right time Paid in full for his crime Do you know what it's like to nearly understand How a boy can turn into a man How it feels Hasn't it been too long He can always take some More of it, more of it, more of it, more of it Hasn't it been too long He can always take some More of it, more of it, more of it, more of it I waited nine years for you to lie Waited four years to do what I needed to When I needed to Hasn't it been too long He can always take some More of it, more of it, more of it, more of it Hasn't it been too long

How Long 02:47
I've tried, I tried each different way Too long. Too far to go away, hey I'm tired all the same Over and over and over and over and I've tried, I tried each different way (I tried, I tried each different way)

I Know It 03:46
I'm at a loss for words Drivin' through the night I might be home by five Tell mom I'm fine Have you ever had to hold the world Pressing on your back The air seems to feel just right My body's tired It's not my favorite part, I know it It's nearly half past four, I know it Exit 365, my fears It's never been so near, all year Power past those droopy eyes, let out a sigh I know a secret place, somewhere to hide Have you ever had to hold the world all by yourself? Drive around from town to town Running from the past It's not my favorite part, I know it It's nearly half past four, I know it Exit 365, my fears It's never been so near, all year Turnin' the corner Feeling the breeze Somebody next to me Someone I can't see It's not my favorite part, I know it It's nearly half past four, I know it Exit 365, my fears It's never been so near, all year

Cope 03:26
We got problems, we got friends We got issues streaming in Safety blanket horoscopes No answer meaning simply cope And we know why we can feel it Something inside burning all right And who knows why we're still in it Something inside, scared enough to hide (Hi-ya) Get past Chicago to our home Get past tomorrow, no we won't We know it's about to change Deep in our sins, no one to blame And we know why we're not feelin' it Something inside keeping us dry And we know what keeps on holding us Fight, you and me, the possibilities I just want to choose to live my life Give me something so much more Go back and forth, stay side-by-side You were meant for so much more We got problems, we got friends We got issues streaming in Safety blanket horoscopes No answer meaning simply cope I just want to choose to live my life Give me something so much more Go back and forth, stay side-by-side You were meant for so much more I just want to choose to live my life Give me something so much more Go back and forth, stay side-by-side You were meant for so much more (Hi-ya) (You were meant for so much more You were meant for so much more....)

Fall 04:23
I'll take my chances this time I'll that gold from the mine No matter, it feels right I'm sorry, I won't be polite It's headspace, I have it for free Thinkin' 'bout me, all I wanted to see I'm sorry, it's a really high bar This fall has been a little too hard Alright, 'bout time Caught in the breeze Daylight, my sight God I can see It's my pay, write a check to the wolves Happy, fresh right out of the pool They said, "Well, you're a little too tall Don't think twice, step away from the fall" It's not fair, there's only death from a war New life, waiting just as before I won't cover, not this time New me, same tune to the chimes Alright, 'bout time Caught in the breeze Daylight, my sight God I can see

Soft Side 03:46
It doesn't make sense, how people just forget about Things will not happen, but we're safe away It doesn't make sense, though, how people just forget about it Oh, we're watching the waves crash through today Oh, it's a paradoxical way this life was made Think for a little bit, what happened two years ago I can't remember for too long I think I can recall hearing someone talk about it Quietly preachin' I hear it call me, I hear some voice It doesn't make sense, though, people just forget about it Oh, we're stuck in the waves from yesterday Oh, it's a complicated little problem I don't even wanna think of it I don't even wanna think of it Soft side, I've got a soft side Soft side, oh, I've got a soft side Listen for a little bit, before you start to talk about it Good news is all they need to hear And it's hard to find truth when you seem to always bleed It starts to make sense, though, when there's a reason why I hear you call me, I hear your voice I wanna make sense, though, somebody needs to care about And oh, you know it's a shame, there's no one to blame And oh, it's our chance to change, this life we made This life we made

June 03:03
Make sure you don't forget to say goodbye to June She's afraid It'll make her happier, it'll make her better for today While we're over here waiting Go over there and start saying that you do love June Can't you see that she, yes we all agree the same Her seasons don't change What a terrible time to say goodbye What a terrible time to say goodbye We know you'll treat her right Like a good guy should, go ahead She couldn't be more prettier, You couldn't be more shy, Don't let it die Step to that direction, all she needs is connection Yes it's true, you love June You wait so patiently for a girl like she, so fine It's now on the line What a terrible time to say goodbye What a terrible time to say goodbye Hold the phone, stop the car No more waiting for some fantasy There she is, don't let her cry She just might What a terrible time to say goodbye What a terrible time to say goodbye What a terrible time to say goodbye

Treetops 03:56
Up there in the treetops We can climb away Go back, no chit chat, pass the time away And when I'm not there Who's there to show you around I wanna climb to just show you all that I've found Brother, I'll be back around Started from the ground up Feels like yesterday Playing back at Woodstock Nostalgic everyday And when I'm not there Who's there to show you around I wanna climb to just show you all that I've found And when you can't see I'll be back to the ground I'll show you, please know that Peter I'm proud I'm proud I haven't left you Remember you have nothing to prove Lord willin', someday We'll be on the same way Be home sometime See the sunshine Promise when you get tired I'll be just a phone call away Climbing over the trees Makin' sure you're next to me Take in all that we see Fighting for direction home Blowing shapes in the breeze Finding their direction home Take in all that we see Finding their direction home

Trouble 02:29
Don't go to far away Don't you know that God will change us It's now or later, real or faker Sometimes some lies cause us pain Don't go to far from the light There's a source that's never fading It's here and there, everywhere Hand in hand, we'll journey through the night Think of all the times we had Memories are often fading There's hope out in the world Hope out in the world An old page turns to new

Lost Job 01:09
I lost my job to the city Found out that it wasn't so pretty It was Thursday when I slept all the day through By now, I should have known better What a change when they take your life away I hope somebody had a better day I lost my job to the city

about

The debut album of Calder the Band is buoyant and fun, but filled with meaning, hope, and a faint strain for longing to be with what is ahead. "Till I Get It Right" is awesome, don't have time to finish our own review of our own album. It's fun, though. Give it a try.
